Entry 006-8: Boomtown

Mall frenzy in 2005/06, Naga City spawned 3 shopping complex from within the old business district despite news of SM Malls and LandCo Pacific looming, it didn't hinder these shopping centers and to take the centerstage for the moment.

First to rise is Paseo de Caceres which replaces the idled El Rey Theatre feature a Chinese-inspired chapel and small outlets designed for tiangge shoppers. EMall is a 4-storey commercial building with Robinson’s Supermarket at the ground floor and a lower level parking lot. Avenue Square promises to bring action in the booming area of Magsaysay Street, the mall will feature Shakey’s Pizza, Max Fried Chicken, and a score of shops.
