Entry 006-12: Kutat!

Kan naka-aging semana I had my first BP drop in years of taking prescription drugs i.e. Telmisartan, Lipivas, Simvastatin to 110/70 and having experienced the scare made more value my existence and thank GOD everyday, but if you'll ask Luz without any hesitation she’ll blurt-out whooo talsot!

During this week, I was invited by my Boss along with my PHP Yoda to receive the award for “best city website” at NCC, UP Campus. I wanted to go but there was a budget deficit for travel that we have to consider and more importantly I was doing a publication called CHM (pdf:5MB) which my editor needed before weekend plus the Palarong Bikol which we also maintain and tabulate. A week before Rex and I encoded lists of athletes/delegates from 6 provinces and 7 cities ‘til 8PM because the committee in charge of the list came up late (as expected) and all data were in hard copy. Halos mapasuka na kami sa ka-eencode, makulog na an luong ko even my Boss suggested not pursue but we persist!

I was able to beat my deadline but my editor was not there. Only later I was informed that I need to redo the whole design. OK lang medyo nanghinayang ako because I could have been with my Boss at least to have a picture taken receiving the award dahil who would believe that in Naga City a Utility Worker does web design and is a part of the multi-awarded iGovernance Team! Kut.Kut.Kutat!
